This was our first fishing charter, and from the start, the captain was excellent at communicating what to expect and accommodating our special beverage requests. He was funny, engaging, and encouraging, and his enthusiasm for us to catch a fish matched our own. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be booking with him again!

Hal and his first mate, John Paul, were incredible from the moment we arrived! Hal greeted us warmly, informed us about the available snacks, and demonstrated how we would be fishing for speckled trout. He then took us to a fantastic fishing spot where the action was non-stop. For an hour, we caught fish after fish, with Hal and John Paul expertly removing them from our lines. After a brief break for lunch at a local spot recommended by Hal, where we enjoyed delicious fresh boiled shrimp and crab, we returned to find our fish expertly cleaned and bagged. We ended the trip with 78 fish and 10 lbs of fresh catch. We can't praise Hal and John Paul enough for providing us with an unforgettable experience. Captain Hal was fantastic! He was helpful, kind, and laid-back. Despite having to change our destination due to storms and wind, he ensured we still had a great time fishing. We ended up catching 10 speckled trout, making it a fun morning and allowing us to check off another item on our bucket list. Highly recommend!

I had a fantastic trip with Captain Hal. Despite the less-than-ideal weather, we had a wonderful time. Captain Hal was friendly, knowledgeable, and provided everything we needed. Although we only caught a few keepers, we still managed to catch fish. I highly recommend booking a trip with Captain Hal Lusk and Jus 1 More Charters.

Awesome Captain with a desire for you to catch big fish. We could have caught a boatload of little fish but that wasn’t the plan. Captain Hal worked hard to satisfy us and we greatly appreciate the efforts. Yes, we will be back.
